400 kilometers south of Santiago is Termas de Chillan and Nevados de Chillán the two large hotels in the area offering a wide variety of scenarios of entertainment virtually 24 hours a day. The area has over 30 ski slopes, 60% for novices and experts and 40% for intermediate skiers.

Termas de Chillán has a casino featuring 100 slot machines, shows, bars and discotheque. The spa and spa has 3 floors where they can experience different treatments such as Thai massage, reflexology, reiki and therapeutic aroma massage. One of the challenges for this season is the “Learn to ski”, aimed at those who have a first approach to the mountain. The machine is a bulldozer Catskiing snow capable of reaching 3,200 meters high from where there are incredible views of the valley. At the end of the ride you can see part of Antuco Volcano and the peaks of Sierra hairy Big Headed Volcano, among others. The trip lasts a couple of hours and those who wish can return on skis.

The ski center Nevados de Chillán has an iPhone application from which you can get all the details of programs and events taking place in the season, as well as weather conditions.
