Poland. The path to Europe's longest horse
Szlak Lodzki Konny (The Road to Horse Lodz), is the longest in Europe itinerary dedicated to lovers of equestrian tourism and active. Thanks to new technologies and multilingual information system path will be a tourism product, which will enjoy both Polish and foreign tourists visiting the region of Lodz.

The route covers 1817 miles on horseback and its length is growing, because the new provinces added their territories. The route consists of two loops: outer, surrounding the region, and inside, demarcated around the Lodz agglomeration.

For convenience of tourists, the route was divided into sections, so each user can adjust their length to their capabilities. Thus, tourists can plan your route in 45 sections of the outer hub and 12 sections of the inner knot. This structure of the route can enjoy riding both professional riders as people with less experience.
Thanks to a well-designed network was also possible the exposure of the region’s tourist values. The route provides access to nearly 200 centers and over 1000 equestrian attractions. Riding Route crosses Lodz bicycle paths or kayak, which allows interdisciplinary tourism.

The itinerary omitted crowds and high traffic roads, thus exposing the most beautiful areas: valleys, hills, gorges, cliffs, riverbeds and streams. Run by seven scenic parks located in the region of Lodz. Also worth a visit important places that illustrate the rich culture and history of Poland. Tourists can admire wooden churches, old estates of the nobility palaces. Above all we must visit two very special monuments which will appeal to all lovers of art history and architecture: Collegiate Church in Tum, a real gem of the Romanesque style in Poland and in Nieborow Palace, formerly the property of the dynasty of Radziwil .
The visit Lodz region provides many opportunities to participate in events related to riding. The biggest event is the stop Jezdziecka 2011, which will take place from 12 to 20 November in Lodz. Participants of the Parade will be 45 parades and 9 horse jumping competitions to be attended by 160 animals. The riders from Spain, Italy and France play games horse ball called basketball on horseback. It is a perfect opportunity to meet other fans of horse riding or simply admire the beauty of horses.

Infrastructure

To ensure the comfort and safety of road users every 20 kilometers are hostels, stables, equestrian centers and portable. Among the stops will be arranged places for short break or a picnic and troughs equipped bars, hitch, for the grass site, services, stands with maps and informational materials. Riding Route satisfy all thanks to their offering tailored to the needs of even the most demanding tourists providing medical services, dining, physiotherapy, veterinary or blacksmith.

The innovative

The horse trail with technological progress continues to provide the best quality of service. Thus was created a network of tourist information centers and observation points, where you can download the mobile phone map of the route and charge the battery using a universal charger. Until the end of April 2012 have created the Center on Route ADMINISTRATION in Lodz. Also, along the route will have been the information boards and audio-guides facilitate automatic driving on the road. The headsets will also be available at tourist information centers.

The draft Lodzki Szlak Konny began to be held in September 2010. He has finished marking the knot exterior. Currently, information boards are placed. The project is not limited only to the construction of infrastructure and promotion of the route, but becomes an active tourism complex product that will satisfy the needs of the large group of recipients. Tourism product will be the only of its kind in Poland.
